Project H.E.A.L. - Carolina Chapter
The next "Operation Beautiful" benefit is Friday, October 21,2011 at The Soapbox in Wilmington, NC!
The Carolina Chapter of Project H.E.A.L. (Help to Eat, Accept, & Live) upholds the two-fold mission of Project HEAL: (a) to raise treatment scholarship funds for those unable to afford medically neccessary treatment for an eating disorder and (b) to reduce society's obsession with body image. Our local chapter holds fundraisers that promote posiitve body image, such as "Operation Beautiful" bringing together local performers (musicians, dancers, artists) and businesses for fun, lively events! In addition to raising money for the "Help to Heal" treatment scholarship fund, we are kickstarting community outreach and prevention programs Fall 2011.
